How Wyrmspan scoring works
Wyrmspan is scored once, at the end of the game. Every player adds up the same categories and the highest total wins. Most of it is counting, and the leftover coins and items are the one place where a little math comes in.
| Category | What you count |
|---|---|
| 🛡️ Dragon guild | Points for your markers on the dragon guild. |
| 🐉 Dragons | The points printed on the dragons showing on your mat. Not in your hand, not tucked. |
| ✨ End game abilities | What the end game abilities on your visible dragons give you. |
| 🥚 Eggs | 1 point per egg, unless a card says otherwise. |
| 💎 Cached resources | 1 point per cached resource, unless a card says otherwise. |
| 🃏 Tucked dragons | 1 point per tucked dragon, unless a card says otherwise. |
| 🎯 Public objectives | Your points from the objectives. Ties are friendly. |
| 🪙 Coins & leftovers | 1 point per coin, plus 1 point for every 4 other leftover items, rounded down. |
| 🐣 Fledglings | Dragon Academy only. Each fledgling scores 1 point per fledgling you have. |
Coins and leftover items
Every coin you still have is worth 1 point. Everything else you have left over, in any mix, scores 1 point for every 4 items, rounded down. So 3 coins and 7 other items is 3 plus 1, for 4 points. Enter both numbers and the sheet works it out.
Public objectives
Ties on the objectives are friendly. Every player whose marker sits at a level gets the points printed on that space, so two players tied for the top both get the top score.
Fledglings in Dragon Academy
Dragon Academy adds fledglings, young dragons you train over the game. At the end, each fledgling scores 1 point for every fledgling you have, whether you finished training it or not. That makes them grow fast: 2 fledglings are worth 4, 3 are worth 9, and 5 are worth 25. Enter how many you have and the sheet squares it.
Breaking a tie
If players finish level, the one with the most dragons showing on their mat wins. Tucked dragons don't count. If that's still level, the victory is shared. The sheet asks for visible dragons only when there is a tie at the top.
Using this score sheet
Do I need to go through every step?
No. Skip to the score sheet whenever you like and type straight into the boxes. Tap any row name on the sheet to jump back into guided entry at that category.
What is the mistake offset for?
For the egg someone forgot or the dragon counted twice. Add or take away the difference there instead of hunting for the right box. It can be positive or negative.
Are my scores saved?
Yes, in your browser's storage on this device. Close the tab mid-game and your scores are still there when you come back. Nothing is sent to us.
Can I score a solo game?
Yes. Add yourself as the only player, or add a second player for the Automa and enter its points like anyone else's.
