How Terraforming Mars scoring works
Your terraform rating is your base score. At the end of the game you add milestones and awards, then the board, then your cards.
| Category | Points |
|---|---|
| 🌡️ Terraform rating | Your TR at the end of the game. |
| 🏅 Milestones | 5 per milestone you claimed. |
| 🏆 Awards | 5 for first and 2 for second in each funded award. Ties are friendly. No second place in a 2-player game. |
| 🌳 Greenery tiles | 1 per greenery you own. |
| 🏙️ Cities | Each city scores 1 per adjacent greenery, whoever owns it. |
| 🃏 Card points | Points on your played cards, including events and cards with resources. |
| ⭐ Other points | Anything your expansions add. |
Breaking a tie
If players finish level, the most M€ wins. If that's level too, the most cards left in hand wins.
Using this score sheet
Do I need to go through every step?
No. Skip to the score sheet whenever you like and type straight into the boxes. Tap any row name to jump back into guided entry at that category.
What is the mistake offset for?
For a correction you spot after the fact. Add or take away the difference there instead of hunting for the right box. It can be positive or negative.
Are my scores saved?
Yes, in your browser's storage on this device. Close the tab and your game is still there when you come back. Nothing is sent to us.
Does it cover the expansions?
Most expansion points still land in TR, cards, milestones and awards. Anything else goes in the Other points row.
